Learning in the laboratories at JHPS Rampally is programmed to be an experience, which students will cherish. They are organized to provide reinforcement to a large number of curricular concepts to the children, through hands on and real time visual experiences. The labs are technologically/technically enabled for experiential learning in its true sense and also with the help of software, 3-D animation, video projections, etc.
The Laboratory Complex, spanning approximately 20,000 square feet, is designed to the highest standards, featuring dedicated facilities for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, and Social Sciences. These state-of-the-art, subject-specific laboratories are not only tailored to meet the needs of secondary-level students but are also extensively utilized to enhance learning experiences for primary and middle school students. Equipped with advanced apparatus and modern tools, the labs are meticulously designed to provide practical, hands-on, and application-oriented education, aligning with international benchmarks.
The dedicated 3D Printing Lab is equipped with two large-format 3D printers and four standard-sized printers, specifically designed to support students’ project-based learning and innovation. Students can submit requests for custom design prints to complement their project activities. Printing services are offered based on the availability of compatible software and designs, adhering to a first-come, first-serve policy. This facility fosters creativity and hands-on learning, enabling students to bring their conceptual ideas to life.
The school features a state-of-the-art Ideation Room, purpose-built to inspire collaborative thinking, foster innovation, and support the development of group creative projects. Enhancing this creative ecosystem is a dedicated Photography Hobby Center, seamlessly integrated with a Journalism Hub, providing students with opportunities to delve into visual storytelling, media production, and journalistic pursuits. Together, these facilities are designed to cultivate creativity, teamwork, and real-world skills in an engaging and intellectually stimulating environment.
To deepen students’ understanding of food sources and agricultural practices, the school offers a unique experiential learning opportunity at its expansive 2-acre farm unit. This facility features over 40 varieties of crops, vegetables, fruits, tubers, creepers, and leafy greens cultivated in dedicated plots annually. By engaging directly with farming activities, students gain practical insights into sustainable agriculture while fostering a connection with nature and enriching their academic pursuits beyond the classroom.
